FLITE Components, LLC. has a history of services dating back to 1948, when the company was established in Dallas, Texas. FLITE Components was originally a FAA/JAA certified repair station for class 1, 2, and 3 aircraft accessories and a factory authorized stocking distributor and repair service center for Aircraft Part Corporation, as well as a factory authorized stocking distributor for FPT, AMFUEL and Aerazur.
In 2006, the Aero Maintenance Group purchased FLITE Components and moved it into a larger facility near Love Field in Dallas, Texas adding structures and composites MRO services. Shortly thereafter the accessories and components portion of FLITE was sold off with the main emphasis of the business focused solely on composites and sheet metal. With 40,000 square feet of operations, FLITE Components became AMG’s center of excellence for the repair of thrust reversers, radomes, and flight control surfaces. In 2011 Air France Industries – KLM Engineering and Maintenance Network acquired the Aero Maintenance Group in its entirety.
